pawenn summary of 12 Google reviews from April – October 2026
Several customers praise stylists Zariah and Ebony and the check-in team on Austin Highway for friendly service and attentive care. However, one reviewer accused staff of exaggerating their dog's behaviour to cancel an overbooked appointment, and another noted that a groomer ignored instructions to leave ear fur long.
Most reviewers are pleased with their dogs' haircuts, first-time matted coat grooms, and quick walk-in nail trims. At the same time, one client reported a choppy snout trim after ear styling instructions were overlooked, and another left a severe one-star complaint alleging a fatal incident.
While a couple of owners note that staff handled matted puppies and walk-in nail trims gently, critical reviews raise serious welfare and comfort concerns. One owner cancelled after their anxious dog was left waiting in a crate for nearly two hours, another disputed claims about their dog's behaviour, and one alleged a pet death.
Yes, reviewers mention walking in for quick canine nail trimming services without a full grooming session.
Appointments can be booked online or by calling the Austin Highway salon, though some reviewers report wait times during busy periods.
Clients mention stylists Zariah and Ebony when sharing feedback on haircuts and puppy grooming sessions.
