pawenn summary of 44 Google reviews from April – October 2026
While a few shoppers encountered polite cashiers and helpful aquatics staff, overall reviews reflect substantial dissatisfaction with customer service. Patrons frequently report unhelpful floor employees who ignore questions, dismissive store managers during pricing disputes, and rude treatment at the grooming and veterinary desks.
Visitors appreciate the spacious aisles, clean store interior, and ample retail displays for routine pet shopping. However, several reviewers highlight notable maintenance shortcomings, including litter and pet waste in the parking lot, unexpected early store closures, and murky water in aquatic tanks.
Shoppers find a broad assortment of cat foods, dog treats, and aquarium accessories during routine trips. Nevertheless, multiple pet owners report dissatisfaction with product quality, noting poor condition of display fish in aquatics, degraded rabbit alfalfa hay, and limited selection for felines compared to dogs.
Yes, leashed and well-behaved domestic pets are welcome to shop alongside their owners.
Yes, an on-site grooming salon provides baths and haircuts, though reviews emphasize communicating specific grooming requests clearly.
Curbside pickup is nominally offered, but reviewers report occasional delays and recommend entering the store if wait times are long.
